Want to prove to your friends and family that you had hot sex on your wedding night? Well, just in case you’re worried people wouldn’t believe your sexual prowess, you can now document, or at least suggest, the fornication did indeed happen.
A new trend has some couples adding yet another event to the wedding hoopla. On top of those engagement photos, bridal shower photos, bachelorette photos, rehearsal dinner snapshots and, finally (finally), the wedding, now there one more photo series to add to the album. The New York Daily News first reported that photographers such as Michelle Jonne’s “morning-after” photos, which can cost up to $650 for the sexy session, are becoming a hot new trend.
“We do it very sexy and implied,” New Jersey-based photographer Michelle Jonné, 34, told the New York Daily News.
The photos show men and women in scantily clad clothing, tongues and breasts and sex a-flying. Shower scenes, bedroom scenes, I’m-going-to-fuck-you-on-the-dinner-table scenes are all apart of the portfolio.
“I wanted to do the shoots to show that [marriage] is happy … it’s sexy and it’s not over,” Jonne continued to explain to the newspaper.
But some weren’t so impressed. Lesley Jane Seymour, editor-in-chief of More magazine, told ABC News that she was “appalled” by the trend.
“I think it’s just an incredibly sad statement of, is nothing private?” Seymour told ABC News. “There’s something wrong that people need all this public adulation.”
But Jonne stood by her product, and said her photos are far from pornographic or inappropriate. She told ABC News, “I want things fun, sexy, pillow fight in bed,” she said. “I want tasteful.”
